We at Haus Sonnenterrasse attach great importance to making our website barrier-free and accessible in accordance with the applicable legal requirements. This accessibility statement applies to the website www.sonnenterrasse-fiss.at – Owner: Family Edwin & Beatrix Kathrein.

Our measures are based on the Austrian Accessibility Act BaFG (Federal Law Gazette I No. 76/2023 of July 19, 2023) and the EU Directive “Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services”, which will come into force on June 28, 2025.

Status of compatibility with the requirements

The accessibility requirements result from the above-mentioned legal principles. The assessment of conformity was carried out as part of an internal review on 18.06.2025.
It was found that the content and functions of our website largely comply with the legal requirements.

Non-accessible content:

In some areas, accessibility could not be fully implemented – for example with color contrasts. However, we have provided alternative functions to improve usability, for example via a contrast switcher.

The following points have been implemented to make our website barrier-free for you:

Buttons and links:

Our buttons for navigation and the provision of information are designed in the prescribed sizes. We are also in the process of providing the buttons with alternative information so that they can be recognized by screen readers.
They can also be operated via the keyboard (using the tab key).
However, it is not technically possible to assign separate link titles for embedded text links in continuous text.

Color contrasts:

The color scheme of the website does not comply with the legal contrast requirements in all respects. However, in order to display texts clearly, you will find a light gray square icon with a split circle on the left-hand side. Click on it to display the text in high contrast.

Font sizes:

If the texts appear too small on your screen, you can enlarge them using the “TT” symbol on the left-hand side. The texts and headings will then be displayed larger.

Heading structure:

Some headings are not correctly identified by checking software. This is due to the structure of the website. However, the structure using the Hx hierarchy has been implemented correctly and is also interpreted correctly by screen readers.

This content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legislation

Some of the content on our website originates from external providers. We assume no liability for these third-party providers with regard to accessibility within the meaning of the Accessibility Act or the EU Directive. This third-party content is therefore excluded from the requirements of the Accessibility Act.

There are also older files and content on this website that were put online before 28.06.2025. These are not subject to the accessibility obligation and are not currently scheduled for revision.
